Full of unknowns and uncertainties, our communities have felt the impact of this global epidemic in more ways than one. During this difficult time, we hope you are taking the necessary measures to keep you and your family safe and healthy. In the unfortunate event you do not feel well, please update the Nifty team and we'll do our part to continue supporting you and your clients.
Even though there is a low risk of getting ill with the Nifty team working in a remote capacity, we'll keep you updated if anything changes with someone who is directly supporting you. I care tremendously for the well-being of our advisors and our team, and if there is any way that I or someone else can help, please do not hesitate to let us know.
In addition, we understand that advising your clients is your first priority. Here are a few tips we'd like to share while speaking to uneasy clients:
Be proactive in your client communication. Clients will feel comforted knowing that you are taking the necessary steps to ensure what's best for them.
Tell them what you know in addition to what you don't know. Don't only talk about what's currently happening, but why the facts should make them feel less anxious and how your experience serves them as their financial planner.
Attitude is everything. Psychologists have studied that it's innate for us to mirror other people's behavior. When speaking to clients, project a steady, calm, and collected voice to help ease difficult conversations.
All in all, we'll continue to monitor the situation and keep you in our thoughts. Please reach out to us if we can be of any further assistance during this time.
